Tucked away at the end of an arcade of shops in Blaxland is a gem of a little, well stocked bookshop which has in its wares numerous remaindered books on a broad range of topics from children's stories to medical text. Whilst browsing every-so-often you can find something quite unexpected, of which there is only one, and you feel that, indeed you've found a treasure. (Recently found a technical book on digital photography published only last year and cheap!) If you're a bibliophile beware - I just can't help myself, though I've get lots of Xmas shopping done in one morning. The bookshop is not opened 9 to 5 every day, but is worth a visit, ring and check before you venture out!. The proprietor is extremely helpful, knows his wares and parking just outside (at the rear of the shops). What more could you want - there is even a coffee shop nearby if you exhaust yourself and have some money left! [T, 06/04]
