Marion McAdie is bright and helpful. Her shop is set out neatly, with all the sections clearly labled, (I couldn't see the 2 bookcases of science fiction/horror for looking) No section is "huge" so the minimal alphabetizing is not a hassle. Fairly good selection of antique books. These books are in VERY good condition, and the store itself is worth visiting just because it is beautiful. Penny and David Syber each run a second-hand book shop. The Chapel Street store is at number 38, opposite the Windsor Railway Station, near the corner of Dandenong Road and Chapel Street.

It has a very large collection of SF&F and other genre books. Penny is quite approachable and the 3 large cats in her store are always a talking point, with many visitors taking photographs.

The Terrace Bookshop is situated in a terrace building dating back to 1891 in North Carlton. We are 3 kms north of the GPO and surrounded by coffee and antique shops as well as four other bookshops. Our shop caters for the discerning reader with all notable book prize recipients in stock. Our staff are well read and keen to discuss the merits of a particular book with you be it children's or adult.
