I was born 1969 and am Eurasian (my father is 2nd generation Chinese), but have been socialised as 'Australian' (whatever that means) and am technically Jewish (my mother's mother's mother was a practising Jew)! I make a living as a part-time computer network administrator and devote the rest of my time to a wide range of subjects of which anthropology is only the most prominent (I would like to do a PhD in anthropology). I write book reviews and go bushwalking (hiking) as often as I can, and am a cat lover.
