I'me a tewnty year old psychology student, i'me more of an anti theist 
than a strict atheist ( there may or may not be a god) my main reason for 
reading the news group is looking for cult refrences that I save or 
respond to as part of my (unpaid) work with the university's chaplincy 
centre.
 
I feel that although religion can be a good and stabilising force in 
society it can also quite often be extermly destructive, many (in my 
experience) theists tend not to have thaught out the logic of their 
belief's (although those on this board tend to be better than most) but 
then most athiests have not (IMHO) got a good grasp of what it trully 
means to be alone in a godless universe.
 
My spelling is truly awfull and I tend to post very late at night, no 
offense is intended in my posts (unless you can really feel the spittle 
flying) although they may seem a little pointed at times.
