  Small press doing great science fiction from Australian authors (George Turner, Terry Dowling, etc.). (They've done ten books so far, including a 600-page anthology of Australian SF.) As a small, no holds barred publisher, it is committed to more transparency in Government.   One of Australia's largest publishers of Australian Nature books, souvenir books, postcards, calendars and related products. Also publishes a range of children's books aimed at educating them about Australia, Australian wildlife, and the environment. A recent range of childrens fiction books is based around a koala called Albert.

• Global Language Books are distributors and suppliers of books in languages other than English.

• Woodslane are Australian publishers of computer books; they are also distributors for Microsoft Press, IDG Books (the Dummies books), M&S, MIT and O'Rielly and Associates (The Whole Internet Guide etc).
