We're moving to the UK for three years!

I've built a $150 computer as a "smart NAS" to hold our backups. I've built a quiet computer for Camilla and got myself an Acer Aspire One netbook.

I've updated my Mongolia trip report (2005), adding an account of our experiences during Naadam.

A Kosciuszko/Jagungal trip between Christmas and New Year. Writeups of old trips to Barrington Tops and Corang Peak and Lagoon. Photos and notes from a return to the Box Vale Track.

We've moved to Glebe! We've bought a lovely little terrace just five minutes walk from the university. And my latest web project is a Glebe directory - Glebe Log.

I have a new site for travelogues. Photos and stories from trips to Hong Kong, the United Kingdom, and Brittany are gradually appearing there.

A quiz: Which languages have over 100 million native speakers?

Pages on money and ethical investment and residential property investment.

Australian trips: The Great Barrier Reef + Daintree rainforest and central New South Wales.

Older Travel highlights: Mongolia, South Iceland, Scotland and Northern England, Fiordland New Zealand (2003), New Zealand South Island (2002).

Miscellaneous: You can support my book habit by buying through Amazon. You might want to advertise on this site. And I have a privacy policy.
