Naadam - opening ceremony, wrestling, anklebone shooting, archery

The opening ceremony involved much music and dancing, including one act with ballroom dancers and rappers, performing simultaneously to Tchaikovsky! There were also military parades and company sponsored floats.

We met Saranchimes, Bat-Bold, and Jerry, the employers and colleagues of Gabi's who were going to take us to the horse race. We watched the first few wrestling matches, then went to the anklebone shooting (not one of the three main sports, but popular) and archery.
